Ron, with your amendment I don't have any objections to
020401.1 (Cobol data types).

Question: do you think we should act on this (accept/reject)
or put the question off to the next revision?

(Caveat: while I was working on a COBOL compiler 1980-1986
and used COBOL a lot 1964-1976, it's still nearly 20 years
since I last worked with it and, moreover,  the standard has moved on
since the mid 1980s...)
