[Dwarf-Discuss] DWARF2 Make Error

I followed the instructions from the Readme file:

"To build dwarfdump2, first build libdwarf in the neighboring

directory then type

./configure

make"





Results Below:

./configure appeared to work but when I ran "make", I got the following errors:


g++ -g -O2 -I. -I. -I./../libdwarf -DCONFPREFIX=/usr/local/lib -c ./tag_common.cc
g++ -g -O2 -I. -I. -I./../libdwarf -DCONFPREFIX=/usr/local/lib   -c -o naming.onaming.cc
g++ -g -O2 -I. -I. -I./../libdwarf -DCONFPREFIX=/usr/local/lib -c ./common.cc
g++ -g -O2 -I. -I. -I./../libdwarf -DCONFPREFIX=/usr/local/lib ./tag_tree.cc naming.o tag_common.o common.o -L../libdwarf -ldwarf -lelf -o tag_tree_build
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -ldwarf
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [tag_tree_build] Error 1
