I'm not aware of any DWARF standard assertion about the persistence of
the semantics of vendor opcodes across time or versions.  If so, there
is nothing stopping a vendor from reusing any extension code toward
different ends in DWARF6.  That would not even take flag-day
coordination with other vendors.
